[load balancing] Alteon Failed Server

Hi,

I have several virtual servers configured on an AceDirector 184+
runnning WebOS 9.0.38.

All virtual servers are in network 10.154.29.0/24.

When all real servers for a virtual server are in failed state, the
virtual server in unavailable (NO SERVICES UP), but when a connection is
attempted to the ip/port of the designated service, the connection times
out after a while.

Is there a way to make the Alteon issue a 'connection refused' thus
speeding up the failing of the connection attempt to the given failed
service ?
