Hello:
So according to that agreement (which I did read) you're saying that despite
this clause he can't get the updates to v6.x?
......
Nortel Networks grants you a nonexclusive license to use Software on only
one machine at any one time or to the extent of the activation or authorized
usage level; whichever is applicable. To the extent Software is furnished
for use with designated Hardware, you are granted a nonexclusive license to
use Software only on such Hardware
.....
He owns the hardware, and it already has the v6.x code. But he can't get
the last v6.x rev?
Thanks,
Rick Lotter

Hi,
The latest version of code which will run on a AD2 is WebOS 8.0.64.2.
Can I please remind people that software piracy is theft.

See section 1.a
I suggest purchasing a support contract from a Nortel partner to legally get
hold of the software

Hello:
You can give me an email at the address below. I have access to all WebOS
versions and I just downloaded the last 6.x rev (6.0.75.1) for you. We'll
work out some FTP details in email.
Regards,
Rick Lotter

Subject: [load balancing] WebOS Password
Hi,
I recently inherited (actually, I bought it on Ebay) an Alteon AD2,
running WebOS 6.0.6.
I know that both of these are EOL'd.
The problem is that I don't know the admin password to get into the box.
Neither do I have a copy of the WebOS firmware so that I can reset it by
uploading new firmware.
Anybody any ideas? Please?
