Actually, here's my top output that shows a noticeable
load on any processes:
PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND
188 root 95 0 2932K 652K run 322.6H 59.28% 59.28% big3d
106 root 2 0 180K 328K sleep 184.5H 36.08% 36.08% syslogd
3820 root 2 0 1012K 884K sleep 0:01 6.38% 3.52% sshd1
Syslogd seems a bit high?
Chris.

Subject: F5 cpu load averages
We have a pair of clustered F5 BIGIP HA+ boxes. Just looked at
the load average today, first time in a long while, and shows
the following:
up 80 days, 2:49, 1 user, load averages: 3.64, 3.49, 3.44
Seems a bit high I thought and our LB's are not very heavily
used. Wanted to find out if this was normal.
Thanks.
Chris.
