I have to say the original post may use the word 'broadcast' but it is used
to describe all traffic not just 'broadcast traffic'. Of course any one's l2
switch or vlan should copy broadcast messages to all ports, only a hub will
forward all traffic to all ports. Granted this is all a given... I to am
interested in knowing more about the firewall loadbalancing product that you
will be using. It may simply be a missunderstanding of the device/softwares
requirements. Maybe Chris will shed some more light on the subject...

not quite sure I understood the first question then -- the foundry can
broadcast to all ports in a configured VLAN (like a million other switches
can) -- the initial question indicated broadcasts, not unicasts.
