Sounds like ARP conflicts. Suggest fixing those VSRs or this may bite you
again later..

Solaris IPMP

Hi,

I didnt configure the virtual service routers since I wanted to start with a
basic config. Just a simple VIP (sending data to the active NICs of the Sun
boxes). Anyways it all worked after I rebooted the Alteons (go figure).

Thanks for all the help guys.

Regards,
Khurram

Khurram,

Have you configured the Virtual Servers as Virtual Service Routers? The mac
table indicates this is not the case as the mac is not a virtual mac:

The client port is enabled on port # 3. Everything is on the same subnet but
the new VIP (172.16.2.42) is not being considered as part of any VLAN. See

You do not have a client port enabled, apply that first.
