Matt,
Sounds like you're using an older version, where only the first two MAC
addresses are important in the licensing. As long as you don't change the
order of the NICs, you should be fine.
(Obviously, you know that buying a used unit, exceeding your license,
installing NICs from other BIG-IPs, and running such an old version all are
unsupported and warranty invalidating ;).
