Subject: [load balancing] LB History
Hello,
Can anyone tell me who had the first network load balancer? I was
under the impression that HydraWEB, Cisco Local Director,
or RND Technologies developed their solutions around the same time,
but I could be wrong :). Finding out information about the
companies is difficult as I think RND Networks was picked up by
RadWare, I am not sure what happened to HydraWEB, and of course I
never hear anything about Cisco any more :).
Thanks!
allan
