Standard SNMP Objects
These objects should work for all SNMP-enabled devices; they are standard OIDs and are universal.Since load balancers act as routers, they may not always register the traffic passing through with these standard OIDs, but I've had some luck with them.
For instance, tcpPassiveOpens is a counter that increments every time a TCP session is initiated remotely to the device. For some load balancers, all incoming load balancer traffic is incremented.
For others, it only increments when a connection is made to the IP of the load balancer's management interface, such as an inbound management SSH or telnet session.
Still, they're useful to try out and to have around for other SNMP devices, such as servers.
